I made this bowl from dark stoneware clay on the potter’s wheel. The glaze I used this time was a matte blue, and only the inside of the bowl was glazed, leaving the outside unglazed to emphasize the natural beauty of the clay. I like to make a difference and contrast between inside and outside, smooth and rough texture, and light and dark colors.
