I’ve always wanted a Bombay chest. I have a small, simple, black version I bought new after we got married 13 years ago, but it’s not the same as a secondhand one with stone top and inlaid wood. This piece isn’t as old as you may think, but the price was right and the scale is good. And that marble with the ogee edge is so substantial! At 6’ wide and 3’ tall, it’s a great size, one that works well here and will be nice in the next house too. The hunt and more details were shared in the Thrift Club!
